  • The purpose of the investigation was to analyze the evaluation of the results of the biomechanics of orthodontic treatment with aligners in the different movements, in adolescent patients with Maloclusions Class II: Review of the literature. Malocclusion is the result of the morphological and functional abnormality of the bone, muscle and dental components that make up the stomatognathic system, the etiology is multifactorial, thus including genetics, therefore restoring symmetry is usually a challenge for dentists, therapy With transparent aligners it has been part of the practice of orthodontics for decades, they have diversified and evolved in its main characteristics, material, design of the gingival margin, attachments, increasing its indications and efficiency, despite this, multiple investigations show that no There is consensus regarding the different types of aligners, due to the wide variety of treatment options available for class II correction in adolescent patients, the short and long term stability of the effects achieved has not been evidenced.
For the present review of the literature, the Pubmed source will be used, 10 randomized clinical studies were selected. Mesh terms were initially used, such as Orthodontics Aligners, Invisalign, Transparent Aligners, Clear Aligner Applynce, Class 2 Malocclusion, Teenagers (through pubmed). Inclusion and exclusion criteria for the selection of articles were established, the filters previously mentioned as inclusion criteria and 64 articles corresponded to the investigation were applied. After the selection of titles and summaries, 52 articles were selected, and subsequently from the complete reading of the articles, 10 articles corresponding to the inclusion criteria were chosen.
