In Pediatric Dentistry, there are multiple ways to explore the oral cavity of our patients. We will choose one exploration technique or another based on the age and collaboration of the child. In this presentation we will discuss the different ways of exploration for the youngest patients. Some of those techniques are parent holding the baby, knee to knee, pediatric stretcher or saddle. To know, understand and use these techniques adapting them the patient will help us to improve the exploration of the oral cavity and will make pediatric dentistry patients feel safer and more calm, thus improving their experience when visiting the pediatric dentist.
